Well I've made it to my third and final year at uni, now to make a final animated film that will impress the arse of my future employer.
My story was written by my father when my brother and i where little, the story is called "Franklin the Untidy Rabbit", unfortunately it takes about 7-8 minuets to read but hopefully i can make it all fit into a 2-3 minuet animation.
So far i have found a couple of inspirational styles, Collision Films have made a couple of videos that i love, Radioheads "There, There"

I've also made a couple of character designs, one of which I've turned into a 3D concept model but after talking to my Lecturer i realised that Franklin looked more like a dog than a rabbit.
Since i decided on the story back in the summer, i have been wanting a certain band to make the music for it, they busk in Bath and are called the Huckleberries http://www.thehuckleberries.com/FlashHuxWeb/main.html
I spoke to Simon from the Huckleberries and he said that they probably wouldn't be able to record an original piece for my film but i can certainly use any of they re songs if i wish, which, is disappointing but the music they've already done is still almost perfect, plus another band member lives near me so hopefully he could do a solo banjo piece or something. Anyway, basically its all slowly coming together, i need to e-mail the huckleberries again and carry on designing sets and characters, i also need to find out from Aimee where i can get the clay she used to make her concept model. hopefully i can have started storyboarding my idea by next weekend...
